The Silver Case Retrospective - Kill the Past with Suda51

The Silver Case is a unique game, subversive in all the right ways (and a few wrong ones). It has a fantastic story and writing, very mixed pacing, and a nightmare of an ending. But I love it. And it has also got me interested in the director, SUDA51, and his unique vision of games. The fact this was originally a Japan only PS1 game as it feels very modern in a lot of its ideas, writing, and game design choices. This video was my longest to make in terms of sheer hours put in. Over 50 pages of notes on Google Docs. Final script was just as long. And the initial draft was 4 hours and 40 minutes. As you can see I have trimmed this down some, heh. Thank you to Dungeon Chill for allowing me to use his footage, and thanks to my many friends for cheering me along the way as I have retreated into the editing mines for weeks to get this video done, putting my other hobbies to the side.
