PORSCHE 981 HEADLIGHT REMOVAL AND BLINKER CHANGE | How to remove Porsche headlights and fix blinkers

In this video we'll go through the process of removing the headlights and replacing the blinker bulbs on my 2014 Porsche Cayman S! Changing and replacing the blinker bulbs on any car is usually a really easy job, but on the Porsche 981 Cayman S, it's a little more challenging. I'm going to take you through the entire process of removing the headlights, the blinker bulb, and putting it all back together. The first thing that you'll need to do to change the blinker bulb on a Porsche Cayman S, and most likely the same goes for a 911, is to remove the tool kit that comes standard in the front trunk of the car. It's super easy to remove, you'll find them on either side, just pull the tab and remove! After that take the tool kit to your work bench and remove the Headlight Removal tool, it's essentially an allen-head adaptor that sneaks through the fender wall and into the headlight bucket. Once the specialty Porsche tool connects with the headlight bucket, simply rotate to dislodge. After that, remove the headlight bucket from the front of your Porsche and disconnect the headlight wiring harness. After that there is a small access hole in the side of the headlight bucket where you can take out the blinker bulb out and switch it for a new one. I got my blinker bulbs from a local Porsche Dealership for about $40 but... it is what it is!
