Why does Velvette have Doll Joints? Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Theory

Did you notice this in Hazbin Hotel? During season 2 fans finally saw velvette’s doll joints. Let’s talk about it. So velvette is a doll demon, which makes a lot of sense considering she loves fashion. In halloween merch from a while ago we found out that she has joints around her body. Val also used to call her babydoll. We finally saw this play out on screen, in a teaser for a future episode we see velvette stirring her cauldron and her joints are visible. What’s interesting though is that this is the only time they’re shown. In every other shot or outfit velvette covers them up. Velvette loves to wear longsleeved jackets and pants or stockings. Personally I think this could be a hint about her character, maybe she’s ashamed of it. Most sinners have parts of their body they aren’t happy with, their designs reflect their sin. Perhaps in life velvette would treat everyone around her like dolls or objects. When she died and became a sinner she became a literal doll. It’s also worth noting that the only time velvette’s joints have been visible have been around vox and val. This further reiterates that it’s an insecurity of hers.
