Renowned for her extensive knowledge of classic and eclectic European design, New York interior designer, Alexa Hampton continues to sustain and grow her interior design firm, Mark Hampton LLC and her home furnishings product lines through Alexa Hampton Inc. She lectures internationally, has authored two books and was the first and only regularly appearing female cast member for This Old House. Hampton was the interior designer for the renovations to Trowbridge House, the official guest house of past U.S. presidents. The recipient of many accolades, Hampton has continually been designated a top designer by Architectural Digest, House Beautiful and New York Magazine, and in 2005 she was honored with the “American Spirit Award” by the American Folk Art Museum and the 2013 Design Icon Award at World Market Center.
