Activists holding Iranian flag STORYLINE: Crowds of protests gathered in the Venezuelan capital on Tuesday, marching towards the Iranian Embassy in solidarity with people in Iran. The protest comes as the war between Israel, Iran and United States entered a fourth day and U.S. President Donald Trump suggested it could last several weeks. Initial U.S.-Israeli strikes over the weekend killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Trump urged Iranians to overthrow their government. In Caracas, activists, religious figures, and Iranian citizens marched in support of Iran. The gathering included the participation of several government organizations and activists, with the purpose of supporting Iran at the Iranian embassy in Caracas and paying tribute to Khamenei. "We are here to give our support to the Iranian diplomatic representation in Caracas," said protester Yoser Quijada. "We are here with our presence telling them that the people of Venezuela, the heart of the Venezuelan people is together with the heart of the Iranian people." On Tuesday explosions rang out in Tehran and in Lebanon — where Israel said it retaliated against Hezbollah militants — and the American embassy in Saudi Arabia came under drone attack. Iran has fired dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel, though most of the incoming fire has been intercepted. Eleven people in Israel have been killed since the conflict began. Nearly 800 people have been killed in Iran, including some Trump said he had considered as possible future leaders of the country. =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
