Today, I'm going to review a beer from the Southern Tier Brewing Company, and it's their Salted Caramel, the 2020 release. This is what they're calling an Imperial Ale that is brewed with pink Himalayan sea salt, natural caramel flavor and lactose. This is one of the few huge Imperial Dessert beers that I haven't had from Southern Tier, but I could've sworn the base of this beer used to be an Imperial Milk Stout, and it was also in the Blackwater series. I guess it's a new beer, but regardless, I'm looking forward to giving it a go, so let's see how it is! Commercial Description: Our new Imperial Ale has arrived, Salted Caramel! Brewed with roasty, rich chocolate and caramel malt, milk sugar, and Pink Himalayan sea salt, Salted Caramel brings those cozy vibes that we're all ready for now that a real chill is in the air. We get salty-sweet burnt sugar and creamy caramel, just like the candied confection itself.
