Hello and welcome back to my studio, we are here for oil painting tutorial #13 I am calling it “Reflective Moods”. I think this time of year often takes us all by surprise. (it often does for me at least) The summer is nearing its end, our days are growing shorter, and the bitter days of winter become closer with each beautiful sunset. The tomatoes in the garden are exploding, the birds have mostly all reared their young, and each animal is putting on weight to prepare for what is to come. Did you know that I also teach private lessons? I spent the entire weekend working with the youths at a local camp. We sat by the stream and painted beautiful sunset scenes with autumn leaves.
