Eagle Durasig Doghouse Traffic Signal with Left AND Right Turn Arrows! - St. Joseph, Michigan

Something really interesting I filmed yesterday: a doghouse traffic light with both left and right arrows located in St Joseph, Michigan, facing this intersection’s eastbound approach! There’s also a right turn signal (R-YA-GA) and a NO TURN ON RED blank-out sign that turns on when opposing traffic has the right of way. Traffic used to only be able to turn right at this intersection from the EB approach, but they changed the lane layout of the cross street in 2019, so that EB traffic could turn left as well. Not sure why they didn’t use a regular left turn signal instead of a left and right turn doghouse signal. But it’s still a pretty cool find nonetheless.
