16 years after the Tsunami in 2004, Mercedes-Benz Thailand invites 2 times Olympic Bronze Medal winner Wiradech Kothny to pep talk with students from the Yaowavit School in Phang Nga Province near Phuket. The story of Wiradech Kothny, whose German grandmother gave him the nickname Willi is one of its kind. Born in poverty in Kanchanaburi/ THAILAND, adopted by a German retired soldier and at that time journalist was lucky to get the chance to grow up with Erik Kothny in GERMANY, who later became the greatest sponsor and supporter of Willi Kothny's epic fencing career. Hard work, commitment and many sacrifices made Willi became the only sabre fencer in German history to clinch an individual medal at Olympic level. And now the cricle of life took its turn and in disguise of Mercedes-Bez Thailand invites him back to Phuket, where in 2004 to 2005 the Tsunami struck the whole region, and Willi Kothny himself was having his own Tsunami Relief Organisation "Willi Hilft e.V."
