Mark & his family are great friends and we decided to do some doodling. Used 3/4 inch tongue & groove boards, screwed & glued them together, a little projectoring, some tedious jigsawing, a little stain & voila. Came out awesome & they loved it! Oh yeah and some Shou Sugi Ban technique (shoutout to Jonny Builds!) - that's the most fun part of any build! ____________________________________________________________ Here’s what I use (or similar enough - I like using pretty basic simple tools - makes it more fun): Projector - I just got an el-cheapo $70 ($60 after coupon) to try and it works good enough & you get to watch movies inside or in the backyard: https://amzn.to/31dsTwP Otherwise I normally use my older ViewSonic - current model is $270, but it’s waaaaay better than the one above & picture is still very good: https://amzn.to/2KaNOe3 For actual video gaming & movies I’ve had a1080p BenQ for 3 years and it’s amazing. There’s a new model, but I’d get this 1080p one for $399 (mine was 670 back then): https://amzn.to/2LStfVO Just do your research first on projectors to make sure you get the right one or ask in comments and I’ll make a video if needed. Normally I use some old jigsaw - but get a basic one that takes T-shank blades like this: Black & Decker something or other: https://amzn.to/339bPdd A mixed pack of Bosch blades to get you going: https://amzn.to/2K85dnM And later add a larger pack of small blades that snap quickly: https://amzn.to/2LXxSOu Any orbital sander will do (I use this one): https://amzn.to/2LUVnaP And/or a mouse sander for detail work: https://amzn.to/2T5i792 Simple WEN rotary tool aka dremel: https://amzn.to/2SYZzHx That’s about it really. And you don’t need half the stuff to get going. Just a jigsaw, pencil, blades, some plywood & a piece of sandpaper.
