A FIX for Turbo and Downpipe Bolts BACKING out on your Ford RAPTOR

Are the turbo/downpipe bolts backing out on your Raptor? I got you fam! What’s up Wednesday is back. And today I’m fixing bolts on my turbos and downpipes that have come loose and make my truck sound like a lawnmower. I found a solution that I think will work for me and anyone else suffering with this issue. Watch this video for tips, tricks, and a couple of what not-to-dos when going with this solution. I always keep it real here and show you missteps, mistakes, and blunders. TOOLS: Tools I recommend you have for this job (this does not factor in what you need to remove the skid plates or anything else you need to remove if need be). -PB Blaster -8mm Allen wrench or 8mm hex head socket Torque wrench or a ratchet (I recommend at least 3/8” drive wrench) Drive extension (mine is 24” I belive) 11mm socket Flat head screwdriver Dremel Swivel socket Stage 8 Locking Fastener Kit #3904 https://www.stage8.com/product/3904-t... The torque spec for the replacement bolts is 25 ft/lbs. INSTRUCTIONS: -Spray existing bolts with PB blaster (even if backing out) Remove existing bolts with the 8mm allen wrench or hex head socket (use extension and swivel socket head if need be) Insert Stage 8 bolt using an 11mm socket (Do not use an allen wrench or hex head socket to tighten – it will strip) Torque the new bolt to 25 ft/lbs Test fit the retainer to see if it will properly fit over the bolt and between and against the turbo pipe If the retainer doesn’t fit properly, cut off the tail of the retainer (as shown in the instructions and the video at the end) or shave the side slightly down so the cut off side or full side of the retainer is resting as close as possible to the pipe in the most counterclockwise position (to prevent bolt from turning counter clockwise).
