This is my comprehensive review of the Hasselblad XCD 135mm f/2.8 lens shot on the Hasselblad X2D for tele compressed landscape photography. I have a special photo location in Switzerland where I wanted to take a photo for a client with a tele lens so that the city of Zug, the Swiss mountains in the background and Lake Zug in between get compressed closer together. I tried to do this with the Hasselblad XCD 35-75mm lens @75mm but 75mm on the X2D sensor corresponds to a 60mm focal length Field of View on a full frame sensor and just did not provide enough tele compression effect. So I decided to do the same shot with the XCD 135mm lens and this then worked much better for my desired field of view. Of course I will show sample images and explain everything you might want to know about the XCD 135mm and the 1.7x tele converter which came in a bundle with a Hasselblad tripod mount ring. At the beginning of the video I do a quick unboxing to show what’s included in that Hasselblad bundle with tele lens, tele converter and tripod mount ring.
