It most certainly does, dull blades often crush stems of plants leaving them mushy and damaged. This can make your cuttings fail to root or rot. With a nice pair of pruning scissors you can get clean cuts that heal or root fast. Is it worth spending 25 dollars on these sheers? I think so, they felt very nice in my hands and i enjoyed the effortless cutting it was capable of. Only time will tell if they last though. If you dont want to spend that much, there are plenty of other options on amazon that would do a comparable job. I will try and do a review of some cheaper ones.
