Today’s journey was one of the hardest drives of my life. I left Chinguetti and headed toward the Eye of Africa through deep Sahara sand. The track was extremely difficult, and at one point I completely lost my way in the dunes. Then something scary happened… While climbing a dune, my front tires lifted into the air and I almost dropped straight down the other side. For a second I thought the car would flip. My mind was racing with all possible outcomes. Alhamdulillah, I managed to control the car and continue. Later, from the top of the dunes, I finally spotted Ouadane and reached a camp where I cooked a meal and ended the day with relief and gratitude.
