A Short film proof of concept for a feature length story set during the height of the Holy Crusades. After the fall of Jerusalem, King Richard the 1st joins a doomed holy war. Amidst a vicious struggle for power people of all faiths reckon with the return of a Devil never before seen on earth. Writer / Director Shaddy Safadi has spent fifteen years in production design and concept art for AAA games and films, including ‘The Last of Us’, ‘Call of Duty’, ‘Blue Beetle’ and many more. As founder and Creative Director of One Pixel Brush -- www.onepixelbrush.com -- one of the most respected concept art studios in the world, he has been nominated for seven Art Director Guild Awards and won two. Shaddy has spoken globally at dozens of workshops and events including the Game Developers Conference where his talk "Concept Art is Dead" garnered over half a million views. In recent years One Pixel Brush has pivoted to filmmaking and animation with two wildly different original IP both of which he wrote and directed.
