War on Weeds

"War on Weeds" Film by Yanni Van Zijl Eco Flicks 2014 Our beautiful coastal environment is at breaking point, we have the choice to save it, or LOOSE it. Weeds are slowly and effectively marching across this magnificent eco system we hold dear, if we do nothing to remove it, it will swallow up huge stretches of native bushland. Images for this Eco clip were taken mostly within a 3km radius from where I live. The film shows images of invasive weeds and how local Noosa people are dealing with them through various treatment methods. I only hope that through awareness we can enlighten the public in the need to take part, even if it begins in their own yard.
