Once it goes unlisted, you won't be able to find this video with the youtube search engine but anyone with the link can still make direct access to watch it. Feel free to share the URL with other fans :) For those who may ask, I recorded this with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (which I bought specifically to record the Vancouver shows.) This video turned out extremely well but getting into position to make it was last-day luck. I'm still in disbelief how it happened. I went to Vancouver with only a ticket for night 1, but I was watching for opportunities on stubhub and vividseats for the other 2 shows, trying to find a listing that would fit onto my credit card and also get me up close to stage. For the past couple months I had been keeping an ever-growing list of all stubhub listings in the first 5 rows around the stage for all 3 Vancouver shows, noting what day I first saw the listing, how many tickets in the listing, what day it changed price, how much, and what day the listing was suddenly gone. It was an extensive research project. So I had a pretty good idea what the real-market price points were for an up close ticket to change hands in the various sections around the extension stage. (Not surprisingly, prices for night 3 averaged much higher across the board.) As the final days approached, refreshing stubhub became more frequent because the listing changes were becoming more frequent, and last minute ticket releases were happening too. The changes were coming so fast that I couldn't keep writing them all down anymore! All day Friday (including on my drive up) there was a single front row ticket that had slashed price down to USD$4,100-ish, and I would have gladly paid that price for this prime recording location except my credit card declined for lack of available credit. I didn't have any real hope of having a shot at this ticket because I knew from my research it was an undervalued commodity and would probably get snatched up soon by a grateful last minute fan. After all, within the past week I had watched helplessly as 4 other seats in that same row sold from stubhub for USD$4,995 each! But I didn't have enough financial muscle to get one for myself. (If only stubhub would allow spreading of the payment over 3 different credit cards, then I could have done it.) So right up until showtime Friday, even sitting in my seat before the show I was still refreshing stubhub, watching for ticket opportunities that might pop for Saturday or Sunday. Then after the show Friday night, my hunt recommenced. I couldn't afford a local hotel so I napped in my car a few hours, checking stubhub every time I woke up. On Saturday morning, I was surprised that the front row ticket wasn't sold yet but I still couldn't afford it. So I drove up to Denny's to continue my cyber-stalking of stubhub while I ate. [Side note: It's the first Denny's I ever saw without a parking lot! I'm from a small town and had never seen a Denny's where you had to pay for parking. Even in my own state Capitol, the Denny's has a parking lot for it's customers.] Having found a non-Denny's paid parking stall, before I left the car I refreshed stubhub again. The front row seat had suddenly slashed to USD$2,900-ish! Could I afford it? I had a stubhub coupon for USD$900 from my last transaction where stubhub made a mix-up and then offered me compensation. I did a quick calculation... add 35% stubhub fees, subtract $900 coupon... I think this will work! I raced to get the order in on stubhub before some other equally desperate fan beat me to it. Success! The credit card charge went through! Then the waiting game, because my last 2 purchases on stubhub had yielded A) no ticket, and then B) the wrong ticket, in that order. But I didn't have to wait long because the ticket was made available only a few minutes later, and to my great relief, EXACTLY the ticket that was promised this time! Section B4, row 1, seat 4. There aren't enough words to express how it felt to be there. The gratitude I have for the opportunity to record this is indescribable. I don't know what to say since a twist of fate... placed me in the front row.
