Armour Car Care's Door Edge Guard is made of polyurethane - a heavy duty, yet flexible material - referred to as paint protection film. Paint protection film protects automotive paint from common wear and tear such as: scratches, rock chips, bug stains, bird droppings, oils, gravel, tree sap, and salt. Armour Car Care's Door Edge Guard is clear and nearly invisible once installed - giving you the protection and look you want for years to come. Use Armour Car Care's paint protection film to protect all of your car's painted surfaces. Instructions For Installation: 1. Clean surface of door edge, interior and exterior, and allow to completely dry. Once dry, check if strip will cover the entirety of the door edge. If it will not, focus on placing the strip on highest impact area. 2. When ready to apply peel backing off of film, only removing enough backing to expose enough film to work with while keeping the remaining film protected. Starting at the top of the door edge, press film onto the doors exterior surface ensuring half of the width of the film extends beyond the door edge. Use thumb to guide placement of film evenly while working down remainder of door edge. Trim film if necessary. 3. After film is in place, fold the film around the edge of the door and adhere to the interior of the door edge. Remove any air bubbles by pressing with moderate pressure. Repeat for any remaining doors. Allow 12 hours to dry. After 24 hours, wash as normal.
