The FleetBoard vehicle computer is the core of the system. It is available in two sizes. The "FleetBoard pure" pictured here. And the advanced "pro" model shown here. Vehicle telematics data can also be accessed with the "pro" model. The DispoPilot can be connected to both models. The associated cable set is included in the package. This also applies to the installation frame. For the vehicle telematics connection, model designations with equipment code EX3 may require a modified connector. The corresponding connector with pins must be ordered separately. On current vehicles with code EX3, the cable set is already installed. The unit then only has to be connected. On vehicles without preinstallation, the cable must be installed separately. Start with the panels on the installation opening. The cable connection for telematics and power supply is already in place here. Open the stowage compartments. Pry out the plastic strip. Proceed in the same way on the other side. Remove all 12 screws on the centre stowage compartment. Remove two other screws in the stowage compartment itself. Remove the light. Pull out the stowage compartment. Detach the connector. Remove the speaker panel on the right-hand side. Remove trim on A-pillar. To do so, pull out the rubber seal slightly. Continue routing the cable. Start in the centre and place one end in the installation opening. Route the other end towards the A-pillar. Guide the cable behind the right-hand stowage compartment and pull out of speaker installation opening. From here, route the cable down along the A-pillar. Attach the line to the wiring harness. On model designations with equipment code EX3, replace the white connector with a new connector. Pinch off each cable individually. Note: Always disconnect the battery first! Strip the wire ends with a wire stripper. Attach the pins with crimping pliers. Connect the pins to the connector. The pin assignment for the individual cables can be obtained from FleetBoard technical support if necessary. Insert the installation bracket in the vehicle trim and place the cable in the slot. Secure the bracket by bending the metal tabs. The FleetBoard unit needs a SIM card to send messages. This card can also be obtained from technical support. Connect the cables and install the FleetBoard unit. Attach the trim parts. Stow the cable behind the trim. Print out the activation form for activating the FleetBoard unit. The form can be found in WIS-ASRA. Sign the form and fax to the specified number. As soon as the unit is activated, FleetBoard becomes operational. If a FleetBoard pro unit is installed, the telematics connection must also be activated. This procedure is shown in a separate video. ========================================================== More Information: OF82.85-W-3000-02A FleetBoard TiiRec.pure A 000 446 11 60 FleetBoard TiiRec.pro A 000 446 10 60 FleetBoard preinstallation Code EX3 Handheld crimping pliers W 220 589 01 99 10 Crimping pliers W 220 585 01 99 10 =========================================================== instagram: / mbownersclub twitter: / mb_owners
