You have to break the habit of dodging and BLOCK instead. We should only dodge a few specific attacks, such as Greatsword heavies, Hammer, and some heavy strikes. However, against weapons like Rapier and Hatchet, we can literally walk away from their heavy attacks. Nothing they do deals enough stamina damage to prevent us from blocking everything that could actually hit us. Pylon positioning is crucial, and you need to adapt your playstyle based on the situation. If you have your Ice Gauntlet (IG) out, you can press dodge + weapon swap so that you start the dodge with IG, but by the time the dodge ends, you have your Great Axe (GA) ready to use. This is enough to proc Pylon’s extra attack speed, you don’t need to finish the dodge with IG out and then swap. We should block most of the time, but also find the right moment to land extra burst damage from Pylon after dodging. The Pylon icon in your skill bar is bugged, so you’ll need to manually track when it’s up, when it’s not, and when you need to despawn it. (Bug World, of course!) If you don’t have Keen Speed boots, the build will still work, but you won’t have that OP extra speed. However, we still have a good amount of haste and slows to work with. Remember to buy haste cakes on OPR for 15% extra haste (Yes it's 15% not 10% as the game indicates) Also try to get some cleeanse pots, with that + our Entombed cleanse, we can get rid of most dangerous effects, most of the time, to do not lose dmg or blow up. I like to play 250 con because Pylon also gain HP (40%) based on our max HP. And even if they kill our pylon, they are wasting time and resources on it, we can re-cast it like 6 sec later anyway and punish them while they are trying to kill our pylon. You can try to hide it a bit tho. In particular people will focus it in small scale, in a bif fight in general people ignores our Pylon and we can place it more aggressively.
