As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, many of us reflect on our struggles — financial hardship, unemployment, family concerns, lack of peace, or unanswered prayers. Sometimes we feel tired and discouraged despite years of effort and dua. But Ramadan is a month of mercy, forgiveness, and renewed hope. In this video, we share a sincere spiritual practice to perform before the sighting of the Ramadan moon. This is not a magic formula for instant wealth or overnight miracles. Rather, it is a reminder to turn to Allah with humility, faith, and trust in His wisdom. Before Ramadan begins, take time after any prayer and recite: • Durood upon the Prophet ﷺ (once) • Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum – 11 times • Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un – 11 times • SubhanAllah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar – 11 times • Durood again (same amount as the beginning) These beautiful words of remembrance are rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah. They strengthen faith, increase reliance upon Allah, and bring peace to the heart. We ask, but Allah decides what is best — sometimes immediately, sometimes gradually, and sometimes by giving us something better than we imagined. Before the Ramadan moon is sighted — whether you are in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, Japan, or anywhere in the world — take advantage of these precious days of Sha’ban. If you would like to be included in a special dua before Ramadan, write “Ameen” with your name in the comments. We pray that Allah grants: • Lawful sustenance • Relief from hardship • Peace in our homes • Success for our children • Forgiveness for our sins • And a blessed Ramadan filled with mercy Please watch the full video for complete guidance on how to perform this practice properly. May Allah accept our remembrance, forgive our shortcomings, and allow us to enter Ramadan with purified hearts. Ameen.
