ICE arrests multiple people with alleged criminal pasts during northern Nevada operation

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested more than a dozen people Tuesday morning across northern Nevada as part of their daily operations under the Trump administration. Federal agents made 17 arrests in Reno, Sparks, Sun Valley and Carson City on Monday and an additional 16 by noon Tuesday. ICE officials said everyone arrested this week has a previous criminal conviction. News 4 is working to gather more details on all the individuals who were arrested. Rodolfo Hernandez-Yanez, 56, was arrested a rideshare parking lot along Highway 50 near Carson City. Hernandez-Yanez, a Mexican national living in the United States illegally, was taken into custody while taking his children, aged 17 and 18, to school in Incline Village.
