Achieving Simple Ditch Water Effects for the Model Railroad and Diorama | Boomer Diorama ~ # 324

This is a simple method for water effects using acrylic gloss medium, and multiple thin layers over a flat sealed and painted surface. The key is to allow each layer to dry before applying the next. I paint the sealed surface the color I want (usually dark olive green) and then apply the gloss medium with subsequent thin coats over top of the painted surface.
