HIIT workouts are great for both building muscle and working your cardiovascular system. Doing short bursts of movements in between short moments of rest is great for heart health as well as your overall blood circulation. This is a seated routine which works well if you have limited mobility or limitations in your lower body or core which may keep you from standing for long periods of time. Adding both a lighter dumbbell set and a moderate set will also help with your strength training while doing this exercise. Remember, this is an Intermediate Level routine so be sure to preview the workout in full before you begin. Only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don't cause any pain or discomfort. Keep you water close by and take breaks when you need to. Have a great workout! Team Meredith
