This is the story of my grandma Aliyeva Femiye. Who was deported with the whole Crimean Tatar nation on May 18,1944. On this day in 1944 the whole population was forcibly deported from their ancestral lands to Uzbekistan, Ural and Kazakhstan. Almost half of the nation perished. But nevertheless my people fought agains the aggression and returned to the motherland!
