In this episode, we explore Mudgee and the surrounding area — and it’s a bit of a mixed bag! We kicked things off in Mudgee itself, wandered through the town, checked out all the cute boutiques and shops… though the cold weather definitely cut our exploring a little short! Next stop was Robert Stein Winery — and we always like to be honest. While the wines didn’t blow us away and the setting wasn’t quite our vibe, we did enjoy a platter and loved the quirky little Christmas in July setup, plus the moody vineyards and cool art scattered around the property made for a nice afternoon. Then… we made our way to Goolma, and this is where things got a little sketchy. Let’s just say, when your camp turns out to be a gravel pit behind an old church… you question your life choices!
