This is the story of one of three large loads to be delivered into the Hirwaun Industrial Estate over the coming weeks. Despite month of planning, the load got to within a mile of its destination, only to be scuppered by a footbridge that was 6 inches to low for it to pass under. We follow the events of that evening, and the following weeks, as an alternative is sought to get the huge turbine to its final resting place. If no other route can be found, it'll be hundreds of miles of detour to get it there. Let's see what happened.
