Beginner Knitting - Learn to knit a Snood with this free video tutorial and Knitting pattern!

In this video I show you how to knit a snood alternating in rows of Knit and Purl stitch known as Stocking Stitch. YOU WILL LEARN THE FOLLOWING: How to cast on The Stocking Stitch Pattern How to cast off your knitting How to weave in the loose ends after knitting How to sew your snood together I've also written a FREE knitting pattern for this Snood that you can download on my website or from my Ravelry store at the following: https://knittingagogo.com/collections... https://www.ravelry.com/designers/kni... I used 1 x 50g ball of Sirdar Country Classic DK in shade 864 - Duck Egg Blue You can purchase the yarn from the following website: https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/... You'll also need a pair of 4mm (U.S. #7) knitting needles, an embroidery needle and scissors for cutting the yarn. The finished snood in this example measures 21.5cm (8.5in) in width (unstretched) and 48cm (19in) in length.
