Bond, James Bond! This week’s speed build is something a little bit different from the normal Harry Potter, magic, medieval fantasy stuff I normally build! A Speed Champions car set! James Bond/Aston Martin edition! Set Number: 76911 Date Released: 2022 Theme: Speed Champions Minifigures: James Bond (Daniel Craig, from the film No Time to Die) It is a lovely little detailed set with some fun build techniques. I am not normally into LEGO cars but this one looks great and is super fun to build. One of the awesome things about this set is that it also comes with several different number plates you can swap over. A beautiful tribute to the other James Bond films/cars. The only con I have a about this set is the fact that the doors cannot be swung open and shut, which is understandable at the price point. They are probably moveable in the much larger edition. Definitely a retired set worth getting if you love James Bond or Aston Martins. This actually isn’t my set, it is a set I bought my Dad for Christmas 2 or 3 Christmas ago that he kept trying to build but just couldn’t, so I was allowed to build it for him.
