[3:56] Prototyping the colorway using the dye measured out above [12:49] My Plans for this colorway [16:09] Mixing Colors 1.5 grams of baby blue eyes, sea spray, and peacock ~.15 grams of indigio blue for 300 g yarn [17:33] The set up 300 g of our donegal yarn + 1L of warm water+ 2 T white vinegar [18:08] Dyeing multi neps 900 mL water + 1.5 g baby blue eyes 900 mL water + 1.5 g peacock blue + 1 T white vinegar (after half added) 1/2 of the sea spray mixture in ~ 800 mL liquid and add all over flip and do the rest of the sea spray in 800 mL Add 2 T white vinegar Remove yarn - manipulate yarn and put lightest patches on top 800 mL with indigo - pour on top [28:50] Heat setting the yarn transfer to a kettle to set the color for 30 min on the stove top [30:00] I am a small batch dyer [31:43] Washing the yarn [33:54] Dyeing more yarn 400 g at a time.
