This is the breakdown of the killer lick that Vinnie Colaiuta did in the 1989 Buddy Rich Memorial Scholarship Concert while he was doing the drum trio with Steve Gadd and Dave Weckl. Very challenging AND fun lick to play. After 32 years of drumming, I decided to learn it this past November (2013). I'll post more variations later.
