English/Portuguese. South Park City Museum is a collection of 19th century buildings from Fairplay, from surrounding area ghost towns and from high in the nearby mountains during Colorado's mining era. Most of the buildings were moved here to preserve them. Various types of 19th century artifacts fill all the buildings giving visitors an experience of traveling back in time. We thought it is well worth the price of admission! BUT BE ADVISED: South Park City Museum is only open seasonally. Visit their website at http://southparkcity.org/ (All videos were filmed and pictures taken by Fafa E Gregory at South Park City Museum in September 2020. One video was filmed at Waneka Lake in Lafayette. Picture of inside the Colorado State Capital building in Denver taken by Fafa E Gregory.)
