KBFI to KBIL--Landing

In early May, I launched on another coast-to-coast trip in the A36 Bonanza to record IFR scenarios at Pilot Workshops at Nashua, NH. The first leg of the journey east was Boeing Field (KBFI) in Seattle to Billings, MT (KBIL). This video shows the VFR approach and landing at KBIL. The arrival included a couple of interesting twists. First, a student pilot heading into Billings for her first solo. Second, a trainee tower controller. Billings isn't an especially busy Class C airport, but it is home to the aviation department at Rocky Mountain College (you will hear several "Rocky" callsigns as pilots practice landings).
