#cPass™ is a novel test that measures neutralising antibodies against #SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Coronavirus Disease 2019 (#COVID19). Not all antibodies produced against SARS-CoV-2 are equal as only neutralising antibodies can prevent SARS-CoV-2 from infecting a cell. cPass™ is based on the surrogate virus neutralisation test (sVNT) developed at Duke-NUS Medical School. Unlike conventional assays that detect neutralising antibodies, cPass™ uses engineered proteins to mimic the virus-host interaction, and thus does away with the need for live SARS-CoV-2 virus and biosafety level (BSL) 3 containment. This video is a guide on how to use the cPass™ test kit. It is not meant to replace the Instruction Manual. Please adhere to all safety guidelines in place at your institution.
