Additionally, the senior Congress leader made a political forecast, predicting "Rahul Gandhi will be the next Prime Minister of this country in 2029" . He detailed a massive infrastructure overhaul for Bengaluru, an unplanned city, with an investment exceeding ₹1.25 lakh crore . Plans encompass extensive white-topping of roads, the 100-kilometre business corridor, underground tunnels, and a 44-kilometre double-decker flyover integrated with a metro line . Shivakumar defended the state government's guarantee schemes, asserting their necessity in response to price rises and noting other states are adopting the 'Karnataka model' .
