My good friend Simon Høiberg recently challenged me to build my own custom domain reverse proxy, and I could not resist. This is when I went down the rabbit hole to implement a simple custom domain reverse proxy in Rust. When I tested this little monster, I accidentally (D)DoS'd Google (let's be honest, it wasn't distributed...but hey...we could still try in the future...jk!), but other than that, it runs pretty smoothly!
