The Multimatic TASV Damper is the first production active system in the world to integrate a unique liquid cooled 48V three-phase brushless electric motor to deliver supplemental force through a bespoke twin-lead ball screw and gearbox assembly into the damper shaft and to the vehicle. On the Ferrari Purosangue each TASV damper actuator assembly receives direct commands from a vehicle dynamics controller that constantly optimise the performance envelope of the vehicle and the ride-comfort of its occupants, far beyond what’s possible with any adaptive and semi-active suspensions.
