Pasaje del Nuevo Testamento (Lucas 1, 26-38) que narra el anuncio de su maternidad a la Virgen por el Arcángel Gabriel, ante la presencia de Dios Padre y el Espíritu Santo en forma de paloma. Como símbolos de la virginidad y pureza de María aparece una vara de azucenas blancas en primer plano, y el libro abierto sobre la mesa muestra el pasaje de la zarza ardiendo que, sin consumirse, se aparece a Moisés en el monte Tabor. Esta obra es un claro ejemplo de la influencia de la obra de Rafael en Correa, tanto en la composición, que se hace mucho más dinámica que en piezas anteriores, como en el colorido, más claro. Esta tabla procede del Monasterio Jerónimo de Guisando, donde formó el panel central de un retablo de estación que se cerraba con otras dos puertas hoy en día también conservadas en el Museo del Prado, San Esteban / Imposición de la casulla a San Ildefonso ) y San Lorenzo / San Hilario. This painting comes from the Hieronymite monastery of Guisando, where it was the central panel of a station altarpiece that closed with two doors that are also at the Prado Museum now: Saint Stephen/The Virgin Presenting the Chasuble to Saint Ildefonse and Saint Laurence/Saint Hilary.
