No one likes it, but it has been around for such a long time and even though we all know that it is an unkind thing to do people still do it and think that it’s funny even though it never was. It is cowardly, unkind, and immature. Now it’s time for it to get shut down forever. There are of course, much meaner things that we could do in response… but the punishment should fit the crime and what I am sharing here has been proven to be effective on multiple occasions without escalating, the level of violence. It is a solid example of how something like a small joint manipulation can actually shut down a fight before it really begins. When I was in the third grade, I helped protect a girl from two older, bigger bullies, and after that day the rest of my childhoodit became a mission in life to stop bullies. Stopping this kind of behavior in the world is just one of many small reasons why we do what we do.
