Yes, the result was predictable. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗜𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱? I’ll explain in due course. 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Absolutely not. 𝗦𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁? Well relax and watch the play as this what I expect to follow; 1) Contempt proceedings will be filed against the Speaker and Clerk for deliberately defying the Court order in failing to facilitate debate of the motion of no confidence. 2) In two months, Governor Bird’s Supreme Court application will be heard and determined. 3) My view: Section 145(5), which blocks the Opposition from moving a vote of no confidence, will be struck down — putting VONC back on the table. 4) The Opposition will file a fresh motion of no confidence. Nominee to be announced. 5) …..TBA 6) …..TBA 7) …..TBA 😎 …..TBA 9) Marape is voted out — when? A date is set and will be advised in due course. In the meantime, there’s much to post about — including how you can be part of the change PNG so desperately needs. If you’re not prepared to stand and fight to save PNG — and for a better future for your parents, family, and children — then no one else will. So don’t be too disheartened by today’s outcome.
