I first heard a version of (the late) Frankie Knuckles' mix of Swing Out Sister's "Notgonnachange" at the iconic Roxy in NYC in the early 90's. Back in those days, DJ's played "morning music" -- club songs at a slower, less frenetic tempo -- to bring the crowd down before the club closed. I was hooked on this song immediately. I was already a fan of Swing Out Sister after hearing their debut single, "Break Out". I didn't change the audio except for adding 3 dB from my CD rip. The video is mostly their official music video. I had to fill in the gaps due to the extra verse in this version and extended instrumentals. I added a tile effect that appears (mostly) when the video moves horizontally.
