In this video, Amy and I attempt to showcase simple movement in a static space, in doing so, we wanted to show equality and equal worth when it comes to spot usage. We mainly want to reinforce the fact that parkour is for everyone, no matter their skill level. Another idea we wanted to explore is how important it is to share your movement with others. Over the years we’ve found that we grow and develop exponentially when we interact with other practitioners. Community is important and a main artery in the survival of our sport. So if you can extract anything from our video, I would suggest it would be that just because someone moves or trains different to you doesn’t mean they are any more/less valued in the scene.
