In this video I will Talk about why you would want to use memtest86. I also show you how to download the software (free) and how to use it. The process is very simple. 1)You download software from https://www.memtest86.com/ 2)unzip file 3)run imageUSB.exe 4)Write the image to your desired USB device (must have at LEAST 512MB) 5)Boot from Bios in to Memtest86 6)run the test (might take 4+hours depending on how much memory is installed) 7)when done with the software exit and boot back into OS 8)Reformat USB (reclaims all available storage space) 9)Smash the like button for the YouTube algorithm! #ramerror #memtest86 #computer I described the algorithms a little bit off but there is a full description on their website of all 13 tests and how the algorithms work.
