I just went there. Let's see how far I can go. Thanks to a bug in BrawlBox finally being fixed as of v0.76, that being a bug where under some circumstances model normals from importerd .DAEs would get messed up (read: .DAEs not exported from 3DS Max), I was finally able to get working on these 3, though Pinkie actually came first, surprisingly. For Larry, his bone structure needed to be redone because Brawlbox seems to have a major issue with bone rotations as editing them can cause the program to freak out, which results in crazy rotations (with absurd values to go with it) or bones not rotating in the desired direction. Then again I use 0.68b to animate as the "Loop Frame" present on later versions (such as 0.76, which I used to import models in the first place) isn't saved when exporting, forcing me to use 0.68b to fix the animations anyway. Anyways, so after re-importing the model, I got started on re-animating Larry so I could clean up some of his more jittery or buggy animations. Iggy was more or less the same thing: re-import then re-animate due to adjusted bone rotations. Pinkie was more re-use an existing character's rig and thus their animations (Peach in this case, if her voice and animations didn't make that clear). Her issues were getting the bone rotations to work. As Blender auto-corrects bone rotations when importing .DAE files (*but not when exporting, thankfully*), this screws up the rig. However, as SMD rigs didn't suffer from this issue, I had to use those instead. Because the rotations were messed up anyway, I had to fix them bone-by-bone, sometimes just adjusting the bone roll. That was a tedious process, added on to by how Brawlbox has issues importing .DAE files exported from Blender, so I had to use a workaround: Export from Blender as DAE, Convert to FBX and back using the FBX Coverter, then import. This forces default material and shader settings, so those had to be done by hand. That wasn't a big problem as those could be set up in minutes by copying another model's material/shader settings. And I really loathe how Pinkie's minimap icon turned out. Blech...
