The second video covering work on the 2013 Yamaha Viking. In this video I cover correctly preparing an engine prior to been pressure washed in order to prevent water getting into the engine. Next I show you how to remove the cylinder head and barrel. The engine failure was a suspected blown head gasket and during this video I cover some of the 'tell tale' signs that will help you correctly diagnose such a failure. The subsequent video will cover a detailed inspection of all the components with special attention given to damage cause by excessive heat - this engine has been overheated a number of times and often been run with dangerously low coolant levels.
