Hello Guys! Welcome Back to the Channel . --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Todays story is Mixed Reality (M R) Mixed reality is a blend of the physical world and digital world, where physical and virtual objects can co-exist and interact in real time. Mixed reality is based on advancements in computer vision, graphical processing, display technologies, input systems, and cloud computing. Some of the characteristics of mixed reality are: It uses holograms, which are objects made of light and sound, to represent digital information in the space around you. It relies on environmental input and perception, such as head tracking, spatial mapping, scene understanding, object recognition, ambient lighting and sound, and physical locations. It spans a spectrum of experiences, from augmented reality (AR), where digital content is overlaid on the real world, to virtual reality (VR), where the real world is replaced by a fully immersive digital environment. It enables natural and intuitive 3D human-computer interactions, such as hand-tracking, eye-tracking, speech input, and spatial sound. It allows collaboration on 3D assets in mixed reality spaces, such as holographic meetings, remote assistance, and shared simulations. How Mixed Reality Will Work Mixed reality works by using devices and services that can capture, process, and display the physical and digital worlds. Some examples of mixed reality devices are: Head-mounted displays (HMDs), such as Microsoft HoloLens or Oculus Quest, which are worn on the head and provide a stereoscopic view of the mixed reality environment. Smartphones or tablets, which use their cameras and sensors to overlay digital content on the screen or project it onto a surface. Projectors or screens, which can create large-scale mixed reality experiences on walls or other surfaces. Some examples of mixed reality services are: Cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services, which provide the infrastructure and tools for creating and hosting mixed reality applications. Spatial anchors or positioning systems, such as Azure Spatial Anchors or Google ARCore Cloud Anchors, which enable persistent and shared placement of holograms across devices and locations. Artificial intelligence or machine learning models, such as Azure Cognitive Services or Google TensorFlow Lite, which enable intelligent features such as object detection, face recognition, natural language processing, and computer vision. Some of the advantages of mixed reality are: It enhances the perception and understanding of the real world by adding relevant and contextual information. It creates new possibilities for entertainment, education, training, communication, collaboration, and creativity. It reduces the need for physical travel or transportation by enabling remote presence and interaction. Some of the disadvantages of mixed reality are: It requires high-performance devices and networks to deliver smooth and realistic experiences. It poses challenges for privacy and security by collecting and transmitting sensitive data about users and environments. It may cause physical or psychological discomfort or harm by inducing motion sickness, eye strain, fatigue, distraction, or addiction. The future of mixed reality is likely to be shaped by the following trends: The convergence of AR and VR technologies into hybrid devices that can seamlessly switch between different modes of mixed reality. The integration of mixed reality with other emerging technologies such as 5G networks, blockchain systems, quantum computing, biometrics sensors, and brain-computer interfaces. -and so on Watch the video til the end you will get more information Thankyou Also Watch • |Augmented Reality (AR) Explained | |How A... ------------------------------------------------------------------ #Mixed Reality explained #What is MR technology #Mixed Reality examples #MRDevices#spacial Computing
