Biscayne National Park sits southeast of Miami and comprises over 170,000 acres. Most of the park (95%) is underwater, so you really need to scuba dive or snorkel to get a feel for it. They do have tours that run a few times a month that take you to the above water portions of the park and we took one of these tours to see the park's lighthouses. It was a great 4 hours on the water boating across the Biscayne Bay and getting to see three lighthouses. Let me know what you think in the comments!
