Luring victims out into the remote wilderness, he would release them only to hunt them down like animals with his rifle. With bodies left scattered across the snowy mountains and forests of Alaska, it took years for anyone to notice this disturbing serial killer even existed, let alone catch him. And at first, nobody believed it could be Robert Hansen. He was afamily man who owned a local bakery and wasan active member of his church. And despite the horrific things he was doing in private, his public mask was so strong that he was able to somehow slip under the radar, despite regular run ins with the law. According to the FBI, Robert Hansen, is one of the worst, most prolific, and most disturbing serial killers in American history. Yet his name isn't as well known as the likes of Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy or Richard Ramirez. So in this week's true crime documentary, let's take a look at the story of Robert Hansen, who is better known as: "The Butcher Baker".
