Monnal T60 is an emergency, critical care, portable ventilator for professional use. This quick user video tutorial guide is created by EO Medical in Singapore. We show step by step instructions on how to start "BiPAP" on the Monnal T60 transport ventilator, via PSV-NIV mode. Note that this tutorial applies to Monnal T60 where PI is controlled directly, instead of PS. PSV = Pressure Support Ventilation. It is also known as "BiPAP" or "Bilevel" mode, where 2 levels of pressure are being delivered during spontaneous breathing. NIV = Non-Invasive Ventilation. This means that positive pressure breaths are delivered via an interface such as a mask or prongs that seals over the nose, mouth or both. In this video, we are using a non-vented oronasal mask (also known as full-face mask), brand: Respireo Hospital F NV, disposable. Step 1: Power on the device by pressing on the green button. Step 2: Select PSV-NIV mode from homescreen. Press the rotating knob firmly once more to begin PSV-NIV ventilation. Step 3: Set IPAP via "PI" key: tap on the setting. Rotate the knob to adjust value. Once adjusted, press firmly on the knob to confirm changed setting. Step 4: Set EPAP via "PEEP" key.
