In this video, I show you the newly relocated Tabo sa Pao farmers' market in Barangay Piapi, Dumaguete City. The market is still on the same street, but now it's right next to the Hall of Justice. Unlike the previous location, every vendor space here is actively used, with no empty stalls. There is also a large open area without tables where freshly harvested pineapples, cooking bananas and regular bananas are displayed directly on the ground. At the far end of the market, two small eateries serve freshly cooked homemade food to vendors and visitors alike. Right next to these are several fish stalls offering a variety of fresh seafood. There is no meat or poultry here as this market focuses on fruit, vegetables, fish and plants. Along the fence of the Hall of Justice and beside the access road, flower and plant vendors have set up their stalls. That’s also where I found my wife again, happy with her plant haul, after I had finished filming the video. The only downsides? Parking is limited and, when it rains, the access road turns into a muddy swamp.
